To foster a spirit of friendly competition, the Twilight Festival 4-Miler offers multiple Team Challenge Opportunities. Join with friends, family, co-workers, or teammates to participate!
High School Team Registration Challenge
Area High School Track and Cross Country Teams are invited to compete in the High School Team Registration Challenge. We challenge you to recruit runners and walkers to participate in the race! run yourself, motivate your family members, friends, classmates, neighbors, parents' coworkers, etc. The entry form includes a space for registrations to indicate their support of your school. The team with the greatest number of affiliated participants will receive equipment for the fall season. All teams with affiliated participants in the Team Registration Challenge will have the opportunity to submit nominees for the PR Award for Excellence Scholarship.
Team/Corporate Challenge
Team awards will be given to the top teams in the 4-Miler. Your team may be as large as you like, but must have a minimum of four members including at least one female. The top four times will be combined to determine each team's scoring time. Team members much register under the same group name so we can accurately track your team's time. Students running for a school team should state their school name. Other teams should list their company or organization (i.e., "Ashburn Area Running Club" or "Acumen Solutions").
In addition to the overall award for the best performing teams, we will also reward the team with the greatest number of participants. You don't need to be quick to win!
